A group of students from the Belarusian State University (BSU) has arrived to the Institute of Nuclear Energy and Technical Physics (INE&TP) of the Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R. E. Alekseev (NNSTU). This educational exchange is made in accordance with the strategic cooperation agreements signed in March 2012 between NNSTU and the leading universities of the Republic of Belarus.
Belarusian students will be trained in Nizhny Novgorod under the programme “Thermohydrodynamics” which includes the course of author’s lectures on modern problems of nuclear power and the accomplishment of eight laboratory researches at the thermo physical facilities.
The Belarusian group includes 12 students under the guidance of a senior lecturer in nuclear physics Mr. O. Semenovich. Training with guests from Minsk is carried out by the faculty members and technical staff of the department of “Nuclear and thermal power plants” and “Nuclear reactors and power plants” of the INE&TP of NNSTU.
BSU students came to study and practice at the NNSTU for the fifth time. This exchange is carried out in the framework of agreements on strategic cooperation between the Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n. a. R. E. Alekseev and leading universities of the Republic of Belarus: Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU), Belarusian State University (BSU) and Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR), which was signed in March 2012.
The cooperation is aimed at training personnel for nuclear industry of the Republic of Belarus and consists of training of students at the Institute of Nuclear Energy and Technical Physics of the NNSTU. In addition, the agreements facilitate the consolidation of capacities of the NNSTU, BNTU, BSU and BSUIR in the field of fundamental and applied research.
