The IAEA successfully concluded the Technical Meeting on Educational Networks, bringing together more than 100 participants from 62 Member States, attending both in person and online. During the week of 24-28 August 2026, participants delivered and discussed 42 presentations covering regional and national educational networks, youth engagement, academia-government-industry collaboration, and digital transformation in nuclear education.

The STAR-NET activities were presented by Andrei Kosilov who pointed out that the enthusiasm of STAR-NET members and colleagues from the IAEA , expertise, and unwavering support served as a continuous source of inspiration, guiding STAR-NET’s endeavours since 2013.

The meeting provided a valuable platform for sharing good practices, strengthening international cooperation, and developing recommendations to support sustainable nuclear education and human resource development worldwide.
